Paonam Lily Chanu to represent India at World Cup Stage 3 – 2017

Indian woman compound archer Paonam Lily Chanu will represent India at the upcoming Archery World Cup Stage 3 – 2017. The tournament will be held at Salt Lake City, United States of America from 18th to 26th June, 2017. The archer and coach Gurumayum Titonas Sharma left India for the USA.

Paonam Lily has represented India in major international championships earlier and won medals. She won bronze medal in Women’s Compound Team event in the World Cup Stage 3 – 2014, Antalya in Turkey. She along with her team mates won several medals including gold medals at Asian championships.

In the tournament, the Indian team will be joined by other state archers Thounaojam Ishembi and Irengbam Sanatomba. They will the country on 19th June of 2017.
