Maradona Kshetrimayum wins overall champion of Junior Mr India 2017, Manipur emerges runners up in the championship

Maradona Kshetrimayum of Manipur has become the Junior Mr India 2017 by winning gold medal at the 55th Junior Mr India Bodybuilding Championship 2017 Kerala, which was held from 4th to 5th March of 2017. The bodybuilder won the contest in men’s 80kg category. He also won overall champion of the contest as he emerges to be the best bodybuilder among the winners.

Maradona had earlier won overall titles in 14th Mr. Thoubal District Bodybuilding Coontest 2016, Junior Mr Manipur Bodybuilding Championship 2016. This the maiden Mr India title of the young bodybuilder.

In the championship, Roshan Okramcha, W Mahesh Singh and A Bikand Singh got 6th, 6th and 5th positions in junior men’s 60kg, 70kg and 75kg respectively. Manipur won team’s runners up title while Maharastra won the overall team championship title.

Manipur team was led by I Bipin as coach and Ng Nabachandra as manager. L Manglem and N Deben were selected as the officials of the championship.
