Manipur government announces cash award of Rs. 5 Lakh for two times Guinness World Records holder Tiluck Keisam

As a mark of big encouragement, Manipur Government announced Rs.5 lakhs award for Tiluck Keisam who created Guinness World Record not once , but two times. The statement was announced by the Chief Minister of Manipur on both official Twitter and Facebook accounts. The cash award was announced for creating Guinness World Record for the farthest distance limbo skating under bars by covering a distance of 145 meters (475 ft 7 in).

The 24 times roller skating championships gold medallist and wonder kid baffled the world with his limbo skating under bars covering a distance of 116 meters ( 380ft and 5in) and set his name in Guinness Book of World Records on December 20, 2015. Tiluck Keisam broke his own world record for the farthest distance limbo skating under bars by covering a distance of 145 meters (475 ft 7 in), bettering a distance of 29ft, on 31st December, 2016.

He is the son of  Keisam Ricky and Pravabati Takhellambam.

The Chief Minister of Manipur made the announcement both on his Twitter and Facebook accounts. He also wished the kid to do more.

The Chief Minister of Manipur, Nongthombam Biren Singh tweeted the announcement on his twitter account and wished him to do.

The CM also issued another statement on his Facebook account to give the award. The CM stated that he could not meet them earlier, but the mother and son (Tiluck) came to Manipur Bhawan in Delhi and met him. He said that he was proud of Tiluck and wished him to do more.

Meanwhile Tiluck Keisam has also thanked the Chief Minister of Manipur for recognizing the talent and for giving beautiful memento.

The statement said, “Heartiest thanks to Shri N Biren Singh, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Manipur for recognizing the talent of Tiluck Keisam and for the warm welcome at Manipur Bhawan. Hon’ble CM has also announced to give Rs 5 Lakh to Master Tiluck keisam, a Guinness world record holder ( farthest distance Limbo skating under bars) today at New Delhi Hon’ble CM has also given a beautiful memento. Thank you once again”.
