Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) beats FC Pune City 3-1, registers second win in the Indian Women’s Football League 2017

Eastern Sporting Union (ESU) of Manipur defeated FC Pune City by 3-1 to register their second win at the ongoing Indian Women’s Football League. played today, February 2 at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi.

 

Kamala scored two goals in 36th and 42nd minutes of the play. Alisha Ranikhetwala was able to decrease the difference by scoring a goal for the FC Pune City in the 65th minute. However, Kashmina of Manipur netted another goal in the 70th minute which completely sealed the fate of the match.

 

With this win and one lost in the last match, ESU progressed to second position in the league table with six points.

Umapati of ESU was declared Player of the Match.
