Bombayla and Deepika crash out of women’s individual pre-quarters in archery event at Rio Olympics 2016

Indian archers Laishram Bombayla and Deepika Kumari  crashed out of the ongoing Rio Olympics 2016. Deepika lost to Ya-Ting Tan of Chinese Taipei by 0-6 losing in all three sets.

Much was expected from Bombayla who had a fine form throughout the competition. However, she could not maintain her momentum she did in the earlier stage. She lost to Alejandra Valencia of Mexico by 2-6 winning just 1 set.
